What’s better for dog owners than a vacation together with their loyal four-legged friend? In a house where people and dogs are equally welcome. In a holiday region that offers everything that both heart’s desire.
As dog owners, we were always looking for such a place ourselves. Finally, in 2020 we, Jan and Alianne, built these holiday homes in the Carinthian Gail Valley: Three modernly equipped houses, each with its own 1.75 m high fenced garden, tailor-made for a vacation with man’s best friend. No matter if in spring, summer, autumn or winter!
Experience how varied and relaxed a holiday with your own dog can be – with our insider tips for hikes, bike trips, alpine huts, waterfalls and good restaurants, which you can also visit with your four-legged friend. By the way: You do not have to own a dog to go on holiday in Saak. Families with children or without a dog are also very welcome!

Three Holiday Homes, individual and with every comfort
Three newly built, cosy holiday homes, each with an individual character, which offer everything that makes a holiday unforgettable for people and dogs. Each house has its own driveway with two parking spaces, three separate bedrooms and a separate, fenced garden.
Holidays in all seasons
From spring on it’s on the bikes, get set, go. For example, on the 90 km long Gail Valley bike path parallel to the border to Italy. In summer you can expect bubbling brooks and turquoise-blue bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity, while in autumn you can hike straight from our front door. And in winter the nearby ski areas, winter hiking trails and the ice-skating paradise Weissensee attract.
Dog Friendly Holiday
This is what a dream vacation with four-legged companions looks like: hiking and swimming together during the day, a cosy dinner in one of the nearby restaurants in the evening and then a relaxing glass of wine on the comfortable corner sofa, with your dog near you.

In Ferienhaus Saak we have plenty of space and a big heart for dogs. Our services range from dog sitting to a dog walk service to dog wellness and massage. We also offer a variety of additional amenities so that your cuddly four-legged friend feels at home from the first moment.
